This new Jordan-based production unit may employ up to 5.000 local staff including 1.200 engineers and  it should be one of the biggest in the whole MENA region.

The Jordan Times reports that "[...] During the Jordanian-Korean Business Forum in Seoul, held concurrently with King Abdullah's recent visit to South Korea, the NIIC [National Integrated Industrial Complex -Jordan] on Tuesday [December 2] signed an agreement with the South Korean firm Daewoo, to establish an electric equipment factory in the Kingdom."
