Presentation of the programme
A major initiative to develop the Mediterranean! The consortium led by ANIMA and composed of BusinessMed, Eurochambres, ASCAME, UNIDO, GTZ and Euroméditerranée is launching this €12 million programme co-financed at 75% by the European Commission, the City of Marseille and the Region Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur. Invest in Med aims at encouraging European investments in the Mediterranean region, as well as developing solid links between Med companies and their European counterparts. The project will involve the 27 EU Member States and the 9 Southern ENPI partner countries (Algeria, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, the Palestinian Authority, Syria and Tunisia). It has the ambition to foster the volume and quality of Euro-Mediterranean foreign direct investment, partnerships and trade, in order to contribute to a sustainable economic development, beneficial to the two rims.
