The Palestinian Information Technology Association launched the “EnTeG” project which aims to fund some Gazan software developers.

This initiative to sustain the development of the private sector is the first one since several years.The French Development Agency is partner and provides a €500,000 grant. PITA might try to raise an additional €3m with a view to expanding the program over three to five years. The program is also looking to broaden the regional market in order to export some IT services from Gaza.
