Tunisia-Japan: technical cooperation in favour of Tunisian SMEs - 18 May 2009

A cooperation protocole aimed at improving the quality and productivity of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was signed Monday 11th of May 2009 in Tunis, between the Tunisian Secretary of State, M. Abdelaziz Rassaa, and the general director of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency for Tunisia, M. Satoshi Machida.

The project will start in October 2009 and run for three years. It will target about 60 businesses operating in electric and mechanic industries, as well as in packaging. The project will specially focus on training and sharing know-how.
