Hewlett Packard will open a global customer help centre in Tunisia in early 2010. The software specialist signed an agreement with the Tunisian government on Friday, 19 June.
"The new facility will create around 800 jobs in the first year, providing marketing, sales support and help desk services. The building that will house the facility is under construction at the El Ghazala Technopole in Tunis" reports African Manager.
According to HP's general manager in Tunisia, Sami Smaoui, Tunisia was a good place to invest because of its qualified workers, its technology infrastructure and its political stability.
