'Oyak Renault automobile factories will start producing the electric powered Fluence model at the end of 2010', Turkey's Trade and Industry Minister Nihat Ergun declared recently.

According to Invest in Turkey, Mr Ergun explained '[...] that the tax on electric cars will be kept at a minimum level so that people will prefer using them instead of conventional fuel engine cars. [He also] suggested that ministries could start using electric cars and that it would encourage others to prefer those cars.[...]'
