Natural gas reserves at Mary-B are 7.5% higher than previously expected, according to the last global estimation led by specialists. Delek group (Israel) and Noble Energy (USA) won the concession for the Mary-B site, where additional reserves have been recently discovered, representing an increased value of USD 250 million.
Analysts are confident those additional resources could secure Israel’s natural gas supply along with the Tamar site, discovered in 2009 and also operated by Noble.
