According to Turkey's statistics authority, TurkStat, Turkey’s industrial production has increased 12,1% in January 2010 comparing to the same period of time last year. Despite a sharp fall in industrial production and in mining industry the rest of the Turkish economy is going back to normal, ‘electricity, gas and water industry was up 3,1% and manufacturing industry was up 14.4% year-on-year in January 2010.’
