In order to encourage exchange between the Mediterranean area, Europe and the rest of the world, the  Fruit &Vegetable professionals and the Languedoc Roussillon Region are creating Medfel, the 1st Euro-Mediterranean Fruit & Vegetable International Trade Fair.  It will be held on 28th, 29th and 30th April 2009 in Perpignan (France).

300 traders (production, wholesale, commerce, import/export, shipment..) will present their products and novelties, and 50 refrigerated and frozen food transport and logistics suppliers will offer their services.  Every country will be represented: France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Malta, Greece, Turkey, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, Libya...

Producers will have the opportunity to conquer and/or find new markets. To facilitate sales exchange, all visitors will benefit from a B to B on-line appointment service that will allow them to prepare their meetings with the exhibitors. At the same time, a conference programme that will gather famous international people from the Fruit & Vegetable Trade will enable to discuss the importance of fruits & vegetables in the Euro-Mediterranean  and to announce Europech' harvest European forecast.
