THE NEXT SOCIETY launches its 2nd call for applications to join the Start-up Booster Track, the tailor-made support programme for entrepreneurs in the MENA region.



Through this call for applications, talented entrepreneurs and innovative businesses will be selected to form the 2nd promotion of start-ups that will benefit from the programme to boost their innovative solutions.

THE NEXT SOCIETY Start-up Booster Track offers tailor-made support to Mediterranean startups to help them go international and raise funds through workshops and training sessions, immersion into foreign markets and incubation in European innovation hubs, meetings with investors and long-term coaching by committed mentors.

Eligibility criteria

The track is open for innovative early-stage startups with impact-driven solutions, products or services in the following areas:

  • Tech & Software
  • Food
  • Environment
  • Energy
  • Health
  • Social & Culture

Start-ups need to be established in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine or Tunisia.

How to apply?

  1. Fill up the application form  and send it back to before 15 November 2018.
  2. Record a short video (no longer than 2 minutes) and tell us more about your project, your strategy and your team! Send your video to

21 start-ups will be selected to join the first promotion of THE NEXT SOCIETY start-ups.

MED'INNOVANT Innovative Solutions Awards - 7th edition



Euroméditerranée, in cooperation with La Cité des Entrepreneurs d'Euroméditerranée, organise the 2018 edition of Med'Innovant, which will focus on three main topics :

  • Improving the urban experience through digital tools  
  • Offer a pleasant and welcoming urban living environment  
  • Making the city more economical and virtuous  

ANIMA and THE NEXT SOCIETY, associated with the Med'Innovant contest, encourage start-ups, small and medium-sized enterprises and large groups to present their innovative projects and initiatives (solutions and services) related to sustainable cities challenges in the Mediterranean. Applications will be accepted from September 17 to October 14, 2018.

Call for projects DiafrikInvest


DiafrikInvest launches a new call for projects and aimed at diaspora entrepreneurs of Moroccan, Senegalese and Tunisian origin.

50 entrepreneurs will be selected and supported to launch their business, from Europe to Morocco, Senegal or Tunisia. 

DiafrikInvest acts as an accelerator to strengthen the potential of diaspora and support their business creation projects, offering specific opportunities to the innovative and daring entrepreneurs going into business. Through this call, 50 entrepreneurs will be selected and will benefit from a tailor-made range of services, adapted to their needs, supported by experts connected to reality on the ground and to the specificities of diaspora entrepreneurs. The selected projects will be followed-up at each stage, from Europe to the creation in the South.

Coaching, networking, participation to targeted business events, financing contacts, etc. These projects will also benefit from an increased visibility, at national and international level. Finally, the top 20 will benefit from additional services such as pitching training, shooting of a promotional video and invitation to two Investment Academies. 

DiafrikInvest is 90% funded by the European Union anc coordinated by ANIMA Investment Network in partnership with ACIM (France), CONECT (Tunisia), Start-up Maroc (Morocco) and CJD (Senegal). This project aims to accelerate and support the mobilisation of highly-qualified talents, entrepreneurs and investors from the diaspora in order to boost business relations between Europe, Morocco, Senegal and Tunisia.
