CSR - 4 companies rewarded for their contribution to responsible investment in Tunisia

On 26 June 2018, ANIMA Investment NetworkCONECT and MED 21 in partnership with APII, la CDC - Caisse des Dépôts et des ConsignationsFIPABIAT, and Bpifrance launched the 1st edition of the “Hannon Prize for the promotion of the co-development through responsible investment”. 


This prize, awarded alternately in Tunisia and in Europe, aimed to reward companies that had made responsible investments and adopted a CSR vision.


The award ceremony was held at the Medina of Tunis where 4 trophies were awarded to the winners by the selection committee composed of the founding partners.
The event, chaired by Mr Slim Feriani, Minister of Industry and SMEs, brought together the members of the ANIMA Investment Network General Assembly, the partners of the Euro-Mediterranean initiative THE NEXT SOCIETY, the partners and organisers of the Hannon Prize as well as Tunisian and foreign public representatives. 
 
Four trophies were granted to the four award-winning companies:
 

  • The Tunisian Investment Prize in Tunisia was awarded to Société de Paysage de Tunisie - SOPAT, a young company operating in the landscape and green space development sector. With a strong environmental awareness and a developed CSR vision, SOPAT is the sponsor of several actions of general, societal and national interest. It was represented by its leader Mr Mohamed Mrabet. 

 

  • The Foreign Investment Prize in Tunisia was awarded to the company Téléperformance Tunisie, operating in the telecommunications sector. The company was recognised for its positive impact on the Tunisian territory thanks to various societal projects such as the development of schools or the sponsorship of schoolchildren. It was represented by Ms Tatiana Marchand, Mr Atef Kamergi, and Mr Amine Ben Ghorbel.

 

  • The Tunisian Investment Prize in Africa was awarded to Industrial Maintenance International - IMI, operating in the industrial maintenance sector. This innovative company has 22 subsidiaries worldwide, particularly in Africa. It was represented by its President Mr Karim Ayed.

 

  • The Tunisian Investment Prize in a Developing Region was awarded to Herbiotech Aroma, a company operating in the agri-food sector and more specifically in organic farming. Located in Kairouan and Siliana, the company recycles 100% of its waste. It was represented by its Associate Director General Mr Slim Tlemceni.
