INNOVATION - THE NEXT SOCIETY supports 7 MENA start-ups to join the BigBooster programme

Coming from several MENA countries, THE NEXT SOCIETY start-ups will be supported to take part in Lyon Booster Camp (14-16 November) to promote their solutions during the pitch contest and get an opportunity to join the top 20 winners that will go to Boston (USA).

Lyon Booster Camp is a unique event that gathers industry experts, early adopters and representatives from the VC community. It offers an intensive learning experience for start-up teams in Bio & Health, Informative Tech and Global Impact.


THE NEXT SOCIETY Start-ups to be present in Lyon are: :

Egypt : BlinkApp (Global Impact/Smart Cities) provides an integrated apps for Automatic accident detection and notification to rescue services. 70 milliseconds is the time Blink app takes to detect the crash!

Lebanon : Carpolo (Global Impact/Transport & Mobility) is a smart carpooling platform with a gamified points reward system and analytics tools to promote carpooling for communities; Slighter (Bio & Health / E-health) has developed a smart chemical free lighter connected to your mobile device that will assist you reduce and quit smoking.

Morocco : Eco-Dôme (Global Impact/eco-construction) ) is working to create inventive and innovative housing opportunities thanks to traditional materials: using a mixture made from 90% earth and 10% cement ; (Global Impact/Transport & Mobility) makes easier searching, comparing and booking bus tickets for travel anywhere in Morocco.

Palestine : EduNation (Informative Tech/Education Technology) helps students capitalize on teachable moments by giving them instant access to knowledge whenever their curiosity and learning needs peak.

Tunisia : NEXT GEN CORP (Bio & Health/E-health) create innovative solutions targeting health problems, e.g. the creation of medical applications and tools for people diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or diabetes.
