Optims S.A. has just been chosen by the Four Seasons Hotel, on Cyprus, to install the solution for the optimisation of income Optims Resort Revenue Management System. With 323 bedrooms, the Four Seasons Hotel is considered as the premier hotel in Cyprus. This luxury establishment belongs to the company Muskita Hotels Ltd. It is the first hotel on the island to take advantage of a yield management solution.
This agreement was realised thanks to the collaboration of the company Global IT, a partner of Optims and leader in technological solutions for the hotel industry on Cyprus. The two companies will pursue their collaboration so as to develop the installation of yield management solutions on the island and in the region.
Costas Tseriotis, the Director of the Four Seasons hotel, explains : « In the past, I have used, yield management techniques and I know that the choice of the solution as well as the partner are essential for the project to be a success I questioned several clients about Optims and studied the company before deciding. We are convinced that Optims will enable us to achieve our objectives and we are confident of the fact that we have chosen the best yield management solution on the market. »

Yield Management is a technique which enables the user to calculate, in real time, the best prices for him to optimise the profit generated by the sale of a product or a service, on the basis of a modelling and a real time forecast of the behaviour of the micro segment demand of the market. In relation to the past frequentation statistics, it enables, for example, the proposal of quotas of rooms at full rate or lower promotional rates as the date of the stay approaches. This technique has been widely developed by the airline companies, anxious to maximise their income by optimising their fill rate.
Optims has some 5,500 clients installed in more than 70 countries. In the first semester 2003, the turnover of Optims was 14.14 million euros, an increase of 30.60 % compared with 2002. On 20th June 2000, Optims opened on the New Market of the Paris Stock Exchange.
