Malta Entreprise (ME) was created by law in 1967 after independence. The ME’s mission was to develop the island from a military base into an industrial and touristic reality.

ME employs 110 staffs, of which around 30 are working on foreign direct investment.

- Malta also has to take into account some realities:An insignificant home market:

Malta is a reputed tourism location. There is a lack of awareness about its industrial potential;
